Chiara Chianese

Co-founder
Orbit Grants

Chiara’s background spans scientific research, clinical development, and AI strategy in pharma. She spent several years in academic and clinical research before moving into roles at the intersection of innovation, business, and technology in the pharmaceutical sector. Most recently, she served as Strategy and Innovation Manager in AI and Analytics at Novo Nordisk, where she helped shape AI strategy and supported its implementation within a complex, regulated organisation. This combination of hands-on scientific training and real-world AI experience gives her a practical perspective on how AI is actually adopted – the decisions made, the challenges faced, and what it takes to go beyond the technology itself.

AI can be a force for good when it’s designed to solve real problems, not showcase technology.
