Mie is the head of the data and AI team at Sund & Bælt, a state owned company that develops and maintains marine mega infrastructure projects (think Storebælt) and operates digital traffic solutions. She works on creating digital change from within in a less-than-mature industry with so many cool opportunities to apply the full range of AI technologies. She has a business school background, and have spent her career working alongside heavily technical engineering and data profiles, doing business development and running projects and teams. Before joining Sund & Bælt, she spent 5 years in Accenture Management Consulting with a dedicated focus on data & AI within the energy and utilities industries. Before that she was with Rambøll and before that Grundfos.
