Alessondra is a Senior Project Manager and Data & AI Informatics Specialist in R&D at Novo Nordisk, where she supports AI enablement and digital upskilling for researchers. With a PhD and multiple postdoctoral fellowships in biomedical engineering, she brings deep experience from academia, industry, and a women’s health start-up, where she led data management and informatics infrastructure development. She is passionate about mentoring women and under-represented minorities in STEM and advocates for diverse voices in AI to ensure robust, safe, unbiased, and responsible systems that benefit society.
